Client Relationship Management (CRM)
BIAS is a comprehensive system that allows for Client Relationship Management. What does this include?
- CRM Features such as, but not limited to, Birthdays reports, Reviews, Last Contact, next contact reminders
- Electronic Document Filing
- Automatic Generation of Correspondence (Address change etc…)
- Clients can be categorized for enhanced data mining
- Client Communication functionality such as SMS or Email, Microsoft Word integration for mail merge of any user-defined correspondence
- Sanction List check (the built-in sanction list is updated monthly)
- RMCP Checklist to aid clients in their Risk Management & Compliance Programme
- Invoicing is available, which includes the ability to send detailed statements to clients as needed

Client Policy Schedule Management
BIAS also facilitates the management of your clients’ policies.
- Each client is associated with an advisor and each policy is linked to an advisor (The client’s advisor by default, but this can be changed)
- Each type of policy has it’s own requirements, BIAS allows for the capturing of these requirements based on specific windows that are linked to the policy types such as short term, investment, medical aid, etc…
- Customise and brand your own Client Portfolios and report in PDF or use the integrated MS Excel reporting functions
- Integrated Financial Needs And Estate Analysis Tool that drills down to a month-by-month cashflow analysis
- Client Specific capital requirements and list of Assets and Liabilities, as well as income generated or lost as a results of these Assets/Liabilities
- Inter Client Policy Transfer Utility

Task & Claims Management
Users can manage their tasks, managers can extract reports to allow for an overview of tasks from all users based on powerful filters.
- Tasks are linked to clients and, if required, one of the client’s policies can be linked to the task as well
- Electronic Documents can be added to the task, which in turn will also link the documents to the policy associated with the task
- Assign SLA criteria to a task category, this includes the option to not only stipulate days to completion, but also to link this SLA value to a specific product provider
- Link task requirments to a category, which acts as a checklist, that must be completed before the task can be completed
- Automatic generation of workflows (Automated task creation). Design your own workflow process or simply use our pre-defined workflow processes
- Track short term claims and, like the tasks in BIAS, attach electronic documents to the claim
- Extract reports for claims and tasks for tracking and further analysis

Commission Management
Commission tracking is a challenge for many financial advisors, BIAS includes powerful features to aid in this process. Some of the key features are:
- A key feature of BIAS is the ability to import commission statements provided by the Product Providers
- Multiple Currency support for the tracking of Offshore Commission
- Import a bank statement and link commission statement imports to the imported bank entries
- New Business Tracking (From Submission to the delivery of New Policy Documentation to the clients) is easier with the BIAS Case Tracker
- Fully automatic Calculation, Splitting and Tracking of Fees and Initial/Renewal/Inflation Commission

AUM Management
Track the value of your Assets Under Management. Use this data to generate reports for your clients so that they can understand the changes in their investments.
- Multiple Currency support for Offshore Investments
- The latest fund data, and Asset Allocations can be imported into your BIAS
- Import historical fund level AUM reports from you Providers to allow for better analysis
- BIAS can handle many of the current AUM report formats and any new formats can be added
- Historical reporting is available detailing the original currency values, the conversion of those values to ZAR, and the fund manager connected to the funds

Employee Benefits
Leverage the power of the built-in Employee Benefits functionality.
- Import Employee details and link the records to Employers, and their respective branches, that are loaded in BIAS
- File and link electronic files to Employers, and to each of the employees
- Generate billing schedules for Binder products linked to Employers, and link them to actual bank payments
- Generate Cessation Age, Underwriting or Client Renewal reports
- Generate Employee Benefit Statements for all employees linked to a specific Employer

Security & Access Control
Access control and data safety is a priority, one that BIAS can handle for you.
- BIAS passwords are a salted hash password, this means that, on an encryption level, all the passwords have additional identifier data added to the end of the password that makes each password unique regardless of users using the same passwords
- Access to menu items, and buttons on the window, can be locked down on a per user level
- Access to Employer groups can be restricted, as well as locking down salary details, electronic files and premium details, to name a few
- Tasks for any advisor can be restricted to selected users
- Clients, and their policies, can be locked down to a specific advisor, as well as to specific admin staff
