- The database and archived efiles folders will grow with time, and we also need to take backups into account

- Share access to the drive and folder where the BIAS data resides
- Gigabit Network Connection (1gb network port)
- 1 Static IP
Additional Notes:
- A remote connection to the machine is recommended for us to troubleshoot any issues
- BIAS would need to be installed on the server itself
- External Backup - This is your own responsibility

The Bias Database can reside on a Linux Server providing you have a hands on IT person who can do the configuration. We do not get involved with this configuration.

Yes, a single advisor can use BIAS. It can be installed on a single workstation and used locally rather than via a network share setup.
No, when you are self-hosting your data and using a network share, there are no restrictions with regards to how many users can log into BIAS.
Yes, when you are self-hosting your data and using a remote connection, there are restrictions with regards to how many users can connect to the server. These restrictions are based on how many Microsoft RDC licenses you have available.
